Hawaii Medical Plans 2023-2024

Eligible Mohawk and Dal-Tile employees residing in Hawaii have the option of enrolling themselves and eligible dependent(s) in either an HMO plan or a PPO plan through Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA). The medical plans use the HMSA network of providers. The plan year runs from July 1 - June 30 each year. Information regarding all other benefits are posted under the Benefits menu.

Because our medical premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, changes to benefit elections can only be made at Annual Enrollment. The only exception is in the case of a “Qualifying Event.” Any request for a benefit change due to a Qualifying Event must be submitted within 31 days of the Qualifying Event for the change to be made.

Note: Medical and vision Open Enrollment for Hawaii residents takes place in June each year. You may not make changes during the Mohawk Open Enrollment event in October.
